The Bonnie family has owned Château Malartic-Lagravière for over a quarter of a century and has always been passionate about this exceptional terroir and this place steeped in history.
It was in 1997 that Alfred-Alexandre and Michèle Bonnie discovered the vineyard that they had been searching for nearly two years in the Bordeaux region: Château Malartic-Lagravière. The couple quickly envisioned a vast and ambitious project to renovate the estate. In this adventure, they share a love of fine wines and places that have a soul.
This family home will remain their anchor, when a few years later they were joined by their children Véronique and Jean Jacques, who are now in charge of the destiny of the family properties.

Discover the property

The Bonnie family and its teams apply the highest level of know-how and adaptation of the highest standard. They have turned this constant involvement into a state of mind, it is their philosophy.
The team is passionate, working daily to ensure quality at all levels: the agroecological care given to the vineyard is worthy of the the magnificent living wine heritage of the property. It is a territory taken in its entirety, where respect for the ecosystem and its environment guides every decision. The gravity-fed vat room built in 1997 is still one of the most advanced designed to this day. The methods of vinification are also adapted in order to transcribe Malartic Signature as well as possible.
Cellars, reception rooms, Château and park, forests and clearings, the Malartic Farm&#8230; The whole forms a setting worthy of the quality of the wines.

The Malartic-Lagravière’s wines, Classified Growth of Graves in both red and white, always show a very good balance, a silky and velvety tannic structure, a nice freshness and a long finish. They are typical of the great Pessac-Léognan wines, showing great depth, and always good ageing potential, but with a touch of modernity making them accessible from their youth.

The Comte de Malartic, the second wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in red and white, is so named since the 2019 vintage (formerly La Réserve de Malartic). La Réserve de Malartic , the second wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in red and white, has been named as such until the 2019 when it changes its name for Comte de Malartic. In red as in white, they receive all the care brought to the great wine and reveal, thanks to their unique blend, their own aromatic identity, more identity, more accessible, based on the fruit.

At the end of 2005, the Malartic expanded with the acquisition of neighbouring property, Château Gazin Rocquencourt with 22 hectares in AOC Pessac- Léognan.
Gazin Rocquencourt is known as one of the oldest vineyards of Léognan, its terroir dating back to the 15th century. It was thus cited by the Féret guides in 1874 for the quality of its wines and its terroir located on a superb gravelly hillock in Léognan

In red as well as in white, DiamAndes Grande Réserve perfectly represents the spirit of DiamAndes wines. Produced exclusively from grapes grown in our vineyard, the Malbec grape contributes roundness, and an incomparable smoothness of tannins.
The Cabernet-Sauvignon completes this blend with its structure and complexity. A powerful and balanced wine balanced wine, which shows an undeniable charm.
In white, the Chardonnay expresses itself here in roundness and elegance, with a certain freshness, guaranteeing a seductive overall balance.
